I bought my Fleetwood with F250 flatbed, but it become obvious very fast that the truck is too small for the camper.
I played with it seeking dually and took it camping only once, so had it strapped with those 5-tons straps attached to flatbed front wall and camper jacks.
Wasn't perfect but worked on mountain roads.
Than I bought dually with utility bed, where storage was enormous, but not only bed was higher, but to clear the camper over boxes I had to shim camper another 4".
That brought total height with basement camper over 13' and that is where the comfort ended.
