FlexSeal

Has anyone used this product yet on their roof for sealing purposes? Do you recommend it?
  • LOL! Great responses! No more necessary, I will put that thought to rest.
    Thanks!
  • I have a simple philosophy, never believe anything you see or hear about a product "As Seen on TV".
  • I used it some around my house. End result: I'll NEVER use it again, and I'll definitely NEVER use it on my camper roof. If you need the rubber roof of your camper sealed, get the right product made for it. It may cost more for the product, but you won't be replacing the damage some knock-off product causes.
  • I would never buy another can or pick up for free if offered to me. Use chewing gum for a temp fix and then repair correctly.
  • If even the least bit of moisture is behind the flexseal it will balloon in the direct sunlight. I had to peel it off my Motor home
  • Don't think I would either. Not sure if it's compatible with the roof material. That said, I used it as a temporary fix on my s&b before I got a new roof. Sprayed around a leaky vent cover. It seemed to work.
  • No way I would use that on my RV - tried in on home gutter and was disappointed.
  • I don't. Worked good until sun hit it. Peeled off like skin from a bad sun burn.
