Floor mats for Super Duties

Question for folks that have floor mats in SD from MY '11 to current. I have the Husky Classic liners which do a great job in protecting the floor. Problem is though that (especially on driver's side) with this body style and footrest on left side, that the liner/mat does not have a high enough lip to keep any liquid contained within the mat. Water simply goes up and over/around the outter edge and onto the door seal etc. Contacted Husky, but they had no real solution. With my '03, it was a different design cab area and mat and liner/mat had a tray to collect any liquid which I simply removed w/ a turkey baster.

So what are others using or suggest to counter the water going around the little to no lip?
  • If you like the Husky's you have now, why not get the Husky X-act contoured floor mats? http://www.huskyliners.com/X-act-Contour-Floor-Mats

I bought some for my 2016 SD, and love them. What I like the most is they are rubber, vs a hard plastic.
  • Another WeatherTech user here.... Got my first set for Christmas this year and love them...

My truck is also a snow plow truck in the winter,,, all the melted snow stayed right where it was supposed to...
  • I have the factory Ford liners, they do a reasonably good job.

Eh, quit pouring water on your floor mats?

Just kidding. Have you looked into weathertech? I'm sure they aren't cheap, but some of their stuff is made in the USA. Pretty decent guys too. You can see the design of their mats for your application on the website. I don't know if they have a puddle holder, but the ones I've seen are designed to divert the junk towards the door, so it doesn't soak the carpet.
