If I read the OP's description of the photos right, I think the snake photo may have been taken in the Manatee Springs area (?). That may be a little out of range for a Burmese python (invasive to Florida, but very well established in Everglades, and up to roughly Lake O.), but probably not completely out of the question in a stretch. Its also hard to determine the snake's length for lack of any identifiable items in the photo to compare with (I would guestimate about 6 to 7 feet long?). I think it is def. not a green anaconda (now established in Florida from South America).
I really hope this snake isn't a Burmese that far north....
