Basically anything grown in Canada or native to Canada in terms of fruit or vegetables. You cant bring bananas, kiwis, mangoes etc because they obviously are not grown in Canada. Potatoes are a no no.
Meat has to be in its original packaging from the grocery store showing it was produced in Canada.
We are heading there in a couple weeks....we don't bring anything. Just easier that way. Buy it when you arrive. Better than risking not declaring something perceived as OK and get a huge fine.
