What actually makes the E rated 285/70r17 tires any different from the D rated? They both seem to be rated at 3195 other than the Dura Grappler. For instance the GY Duratrac 285/70r17d is a two ply D rated tire LR 3195 and the Nitto TG G2 in same size is E rated but still 3195? In 16" tires the E rated version always had a higher load capacity than D for same size.
