A lot of people on here know very little when it comes to the newer diesel engines, it's plain to see that....The new diesels will start as easy as any gas engine. -10 no problem they start up like a summer day and if you have one plugged in using the block heater it will start like it is 80 degrees outside. A newer diesel will get better fuel milage empty or loaded than a gas truck !! Plain and simple a 1 ton diesel is the RIGHT tool for the job !! anyone tells you different and they are blowing smoke at you !!
