For you Chevy lovers.

I saw this last week as we were heading out of town on vacation. I took this pic and thought I would share. It is cool even though it wears a bow tie!!! It must have been chipped as he blew black smoke when he would pull the hills. Enjoy, John

  • Will probably go w/ a Super C w/ bunks in the future. But if we stay in the trailer scene, one of those trucks is probably in our future. We have 4 kids growing quickly! Wouldn't be the best daily driver, I imagine, but I'm sure it tows nice and steady w/ all that wheel base. I've seen some beauties around here in Utah, where families are big and people like to camp!
  • I used to see the six and eight door wagons in airport shuttle use as a kid. I always thought they were pretty neat but I never had a family that could use all those doors.
  • If they ever get the Mega Cab on the chassis cabs, they will turn tighter. These wider front axles have more cut degrees than the pickup.
  • That is cool, but I would hate to have to turn it around. My Mega Cab already has the turning radius of a battleship.
  • With the need for additional seating for a large family, there are few options if you want to tow a heavy TT or a FW. Prior to Dodge's Mega Cab, I also saw setups with four doors and a set of half doors behind them. I don't think it is any cheaper, but it is a little shorter.
  • I like the triple door models however I wonder if they are too long to be practical.
  • For what he paid for that truck and trailer you could buy a REALLY nice diesel pusher. Just sayin...
