Sounds like a defective waste gate on the turbo and this should not be a major repair. Having a dealer/tech who knows what their doing is great.
On the other hand my '12 Super Duty just hit the 40k mile mark and not a single issue to date. I'm still running the factory Michelin tires which have lasted longer than I predicted, but I noticed when washing my truck yesterday that they're starting to crack so I can see new tires before the summer heat sets in.
