I do it myself, pay attention to the clip positions on the fuel filter under the hood. I use both a strap wrench and a socket under the truck, haven't broken the housing yet. Lube the o-ring on the filter housing. You must loosen the filter housing 2/3 turn before you drain it and you will not make a mess. Do not do this job in a strong wind, if you work outside.
Count the turns as you take the filter housing loose, when you put it back on it has a positive stop, it does not just tighten up. Just like your TV antenna on the RV.
