I had a '97 F350 with 7.3 Powerstroke. Great engine for sure. The E4OD tranny sucked until I had it rebuilt with lots of modifications. Then it was good. I still prefer a manual over an automatic though. I'd still be driving the truck, if it hadn't burnt down in a fire that totaled the truck.
