We have had our 2000 7.3 since 2002 whenwe bought it with 77,000 miles. Engine wise we have only had to replace CPS and the o rings in the fuel filter housing, both repairs are very simple.
The clutch died at 120,000( it broke not worn out) and we replaced ball joints, tie rods etc including the front leaf springs at 130,000.
It has 135,000 on it now and we still use it for for a lot of our towing needs, often pulling 22,000lbs without any problems. No it doesn't have the awesome power that our 6.7 has but it has always pulled any thing we wanted in a comfortable manner. The truck has held up well. Everything works and it is in excellent condition. It is still pleasant to use.
