Congrats on the new truck David. My FIL tows with a 2011 Chevy 6.0 and pulls about a 8500lbs trailer with it. Up and down the Eastern US mountains with no problems, long trip to Florida with no problems. That 6.0 doesn't make absurd power numbers, but its plenty strong and dependable for those midsize trailers. Hope it treats you well and you look back in 15 years and regret spending money on a warranty that you hopefully never need to use!!!
