If it is listed on the window sticker and not removed do to another option then it will be on the truck.
I don't think the BLIS (Blind Spot Information System) will work if have the trailer hooked up. The rear sensor will detect the trailer. I have to turn mine off anytime I have a trailer hooked up. Since the sensor is located on the rear bumper I can't see how it can not detect the trailer as a passing vehicle.
My bet is when you have a trailer plugged in and hooked up BLIS will be disabled.
