I tow a 22' with an '03 F-250 4x4 CC w/5.4 V8. My trailer is just North of 5000 lbs.. Compared to modern vehicles or diesel, it's a low powered beast but it gets me there every time and can haul like no tomorrow. In it's daily use it has about 500 lbs. of tools and supplies in the box. In '03, the suspension, frame, and drive trains are almost identical to the F-350 unless you opt for diesel. I don't know when Ford went to an A arm and coil spring in the front. Mine has leafs. I have 165K of work and play miles on the truck and am probably looking at an expected lifetime of 265K, at least. Don't worry about spark plugs, I'm not.
