The F 150 is likely very capible of the weight (as I understand it) BUT you'd need to get the HD version of the truck. That is what mine is and it gives a payload of approximately 2600 lb. (give or take a few pounds to compensate for how it's equipped). Without the HD option my advice would be to take the F 250. I DO love that Ecoboost though :)
