Ford F150's Drag Racing while Towing a Camper

Maybe this post should be made into a sticky.... I remember posts from the past about guys asking how the 2.7 tows, and seeing many replies about how that little engine will struggle up hills, won't be able to maintain highway speeds, etc. Turns out it kicks the snot out of the 5.0 V8 and somehow even beats the 3.5!

Given these were Five Star vehicles. I suspect some hard miles prior to the driveshaft issues. But wheel hop will also break parts in a heartbeat if you stay in the throttle.

I agree fish. That 2.7 put up some really impressive times. Bone stock beating the tuned 5.0 and right there with the tuned 3.5

Seen this earlier this morning. Tuning a truck and drag racing with a heavy trailer, what could possibly go wrong?
