Ford F250 vs Ram 2500 Gas V8 Drag Race and MPG Battle

I didn't even watch it. I figured Ford won by who posted it. No brainer.

This happens on every performance test on this forum. And it is not like the title was misleading. Not only do some not care about this data they care so little to not only open the thread but also post on it.

My 2013 F350 with the 6.2 is my friend. That truck and I work together almost every day and it makes me money so I can go camping with my 6.7.

But it pulls my landscape trailer like a champ and has been super dependable for 76,000 miles and almost four years. That's what matters to me.

So you're going to tell me the fastest quarter mile can always tow the best. That's just wrong. Could it be that the ALUMINUM Ford, which weighs 400 lbs less according to the video, won due to a weight advantage? When the Chevy was 600 lbs lighter than the Ram (when they did the same test) they added 3 big guys in the Ram and used one skinny guy in the Chevy to equalize weight. The Ram still won but it was more apples to apples. Why didn't they add 2 good size guys to the Ford to equalize weight some? Would it have made a difference? I guess we'll never know, but it sure makes their test meaningless in my book.

The title alone is absurd. Why in the world would you drag race 3/4 ton HD trucks?
Maybe next we can get towing results of the 2017 Prius!!! That would be useful too!

Wow! Which one gets better mileage. And which one has more longevity!

Not surprising. The Ford 6.2/tranny combo seems to be the best of the HD gassers, especially since they've finally put it in chassis from this century.
