- LanceRKeysExplorerIt might be, but those 12 and 24 valve 5.9 Cummins sure sound better.

Is it me or did it seem really loud even when not pulling a grade?
If you are a gasser guy i am sure it will be a good truck.
Yeah, it does have a nice exhaust note, doesn’t it? I like it personally. I read somewhere that they were working on quieting it down. I hope they make that optional.
Normal big V8 exhaust “Muffler In Name Only” devices — NC
Wimpy V8 “Hush Kit” exhaust — $5000.00

LOL!!
To all the gasser guys that say a diesel is so noisy, my 2016 Ram 6.7 CTD is a lot quieter than that 7.3!
No doubt a nice puller for those that want a gas engine, but too loud for me, I think my 2001 Ram 2500 was not that loud inside the truck. - mailman-retExplorerFishOnOne,this sounds encouraging. We will see what our dealer will be able to come up with.

I had the opportunity to drive a new 7.3 gas Super Duty today. That new 10 speed trans worked great. I was amazed how the whole vehicle performed. I would wander if anyone has had the opportunity to experience the fuel mileage either while towing or without. If it isn't significantly worse than that of our '16 250 Super Duty with 6.2, we may just make the step up provided we locate the package that has the options we currently have. It might take time as we might have to wait till the factories get back to work.
From what I've read it appears the 7.3/10 speed makes about the same fuel economy as the 6.2/6 speed.- mailman-retExplorerI had the opportunity to drive a new 7.3 gas Super Duty today. There is an old saying " Don't judge a man who sins differently than you do" and the same can be said for money..... Don't judge a man who spends his money differently than you do.
As long as he earned it legally and without government assistance than what do you care if he can "justify" it or not? As I said before, some like to spend it on a bigger RV or more more bells and whistles with a nicer trim option while others may want to spend it on a more powerful engine option.
AMEN ! !
My "unjustified" spending!!! I mean really, who NEEDS such luxurious leather seats? Or how bout them "GOLDEN ARCHES" and then there is the full "Cut and Buff" paint job on the DRV.......
