I am sure that Ford could come to market with this without patent issues. Quadsteer was designed in the late 90's early 2Ks and went to market in the mid 2Ks. I am sure they have come up with a way to do it now that doesn't step on any patient by Delphi. I think there is a time limit on it anyway. It could be a benefit, if like frequently mentioned, it can be done at a reasonable price, and is robust it would likely sell. I will say putting in a SD tells me that Ford feels pretty comfortable in its durability.
