Ford is raising their fuel capacities.
On the diesel trucks it's raising the fuel tank capacity to 48 gal and the DEF tank to 7.5 gal. Ford tank capacity improvements Bill

Having a 5 gal DEF tank to begin with was pure stupidity. DEF sells mostly in 2.5 gal quantities. Even if you run it near perfect empty, you always have left over to stick in your garage and wait a few weeks to add in. (If you like topping off your tanks - which I do)
So isn't 7.5 gal the same issue with 2.5 gal quantities?
