Ford is raising their fuel capacities.
On the diesel trucks it's raising the fuel tank capacity to 48 gal and the DEF tank to 7.5 gal. Ford tank capacity improvements Bill

Seems new features are always debated and there's plenty of "mandatory" features I could easily do without and much prefer not to have.
A bigger fuel tank is NOT one of those features!
It's win/win. If you don't want it and like the measly 26 gal tanks in some of the older HD trucks because your bladder fills quicker than the tank empties and you're afraid to pee on the side of the road, fill it half way! If you want to pack some security or cheap fuel at the last fillip, run the pump til it kicks off.
