As the Free Press story stated, June F-150 sales were down 8.9% but wasn't much said as to why. The 44K average price data was from Ford, key word being 'average'. Given one could buy one with a sticker approaching 60K for a Platinum trim line and a little less for a Lariat, you would think there was a fair number of those models sold to bump the average paid to 44K. And the article did mention the incentives are for the time being, 'regional' in nature.
