Kinda sad that I bought my current midrange truck for less than the average f150 transaction price. And it has a supposedly expensive diesel.I hear lots of other buyers of hd diesel trucks tend to get the same price range of just around 40k. I seriously wonder how much margin is built into a half ton versus hd truck
Well on the incentive front, somebody at Ford crunched the math and it is cheaper to push those specific vehicles out the door than slow production. All manufacturers do this at some point. Ford will probably shift production to better meet demand and reduce future incentives by having the right vehicles out there for sale, just like how they had to rapidly increase raptor production.
