Ford or...?
I notice that a very large number of the people who post here tow with some sort of Ford product. I'm wondering if they are that much better than Dodge Rams or other hefty vehicles. What is it about...

We have no brand loyalty, but from what we see here, we're leaning toward an F-150. At our ages, with arthritis looming, we prefer electric seat adjustments and heated seats, rather than twisty knobs and no heat, which seems to mandate a Lariat. Our only concern with that is that they have payloads that are in the high 1300 range, not that much better than what we have now. So we really prefer those in the 1700 range, which looks like a 350 to us. But we will probably tow about 10% of the time and drive it around town the rest of the time, and frankly, that's a lot of truck to take to Safeway.
So we're venturing out in the "storm" tomorrow to look at some trucks we've found on line. It's hard to hold my husband back from making a decision and going for it, and I confess that that's my MO too. I'll do a certain amount of research, but after a while, I'm so done, and want to make a decision and get on with it. Patience may be a virtue, but analysis paralysis is not.
