Ford or Ram?
I've been looking at the Ram and found one I liked, drives great and loved the interior compared to my 07. I also drive a Ford 250 diesel torch shift and wow Its quick and noticeable extra horsepower....

Starting in 2015 there is a dedicated exhaust brake button. So you don't need to engage tow/haul to have an exhaust brake on the 2015 and up Fords. In fact, the Ford will out-brake the RAM for any given load since the new turbo can withstand the drive pressures and the Scorpion diesel has a higher redline allowing it to utilize the higher braking resistance at higher RPM. Of course, this is stock for stock. With a Cummins, you have the option of adding a load-leash to double the braking horsepower, but it's a pricey upgrade.
