It's cuz Ford is the only one of the big 3 still milking a 15 year old chassis. Maybe that and some finally got smart that their diesels were bottom of the heap for 8 years straight. The 6.7 is finally a tight engine. Cluttered and complicated but good overall power plant unless you're running them in arctic conditions. They re gen more than the other 2.
