It's just for YouTube hits and ratings. They know it's about as uneven comparison one could do. - Perrysburg_DodgExplorerYep like Fastback said ratings game. Did like the SRT part though lol!

:) Hi, and that just proves a point as to why I bought an Ecoboost; For towing my travel trailer in the mountains without losing so much power as my previous tow vehicle did. My 300 horse power Lincoln was down to about 200 horse power while in the Colorado mountains. "There's no replacement for displacement" except for forced air induction.
Note: This race was shorter than 1/8th mile. - Mortimer_BrewstExplorer IIThe best part was the comment that the other truck sounded like a hair dryer.
- Bionic_ManExplorerThat one was actually fun. Love the exhaust note of the Hellcat.
Honest question on the trucks. Why don't they spool up the Chevy like they do the Raptor? I would think that would help the launch. - Fast_MoparExplorer

Yes, but that is using too much common sense.
These guys are the new breed of journalists. My high school journalism teacher always said that a journalist is supposed to report the news, not be the news. These guys just want everyone to think they are cool. - GrooverExplorer IISince Chevy really doesn't compete with the Raptor I wish that they had used an F150 with the standard 3.5 Ecoboost. That would be a lot more relevant to me.

I haven't seen the video in question so can't and won't comment on their presentation.
Your comment about your old teacher was quite right. Skilled Journalists used to present facts...and let the reader draw their own conclusions.
Nowadays many in the media (papers, radio, TV) seem to be presenting their own agenda. It really is more like propaganda. Sorting out the wheat from the chaff...gets tiresome for many readers/viewers. - Perrysburg_DodgExplorer

They ran the 2017 8 speed up against the 2016 6 speed and it got dusted. Since they are not even running an 1/8 mile the two 2017 trucks should run neck to neck if equipped with the same gears. Not a Ford guy so not sure it the Raptor has a different tune then the other f-150's
