OP, what are these “increasing signs?”
In my experience and everyone else I’m aware of, it either happens or it doesn’t.
There’s never like an “almost” death wobble.
Yes heavy duty steering dampers can “help.” But as said, they are a band aid not a cure.
Since you don’t provide any other info, we cannot make any other educated suggestions.
As far as shocks go, ( and steering dampers), they don’t have a set lifespan. If you can’t tell whether your shocks are still good, then I suppose there’s a 50/50 chance they are good or not and you’re used to the way the suspension reacts.
Best bet is a mechanic although it is one of those issues that can have many different causes ending in the same result. From worn parts, (Track bar bushings are a big culprit), to lift kits with poor geometry, to alignment issues, to tires.
