That's true. Is the affected manufacturer Ford's sole source of supply for the components they produce? The Detroit Free Press story published when the news first broke stated an FCA plant in Ontario was also idled due to the fire. Think the article mentioned the Pacifica was assembled there.
That is the typical scenario in the automotive industry.
