A 2wd, ext cab, XL, white diesel is what I drive right now.
I bought it cheap, but I blame 6l engine for it.
Anyway, even I get lower resale 5-10 years down the road, I will have $4-5,000 saved in my pocket already for lack of 4WD alone.
The truth is that after pocketing house appreciation, I might not want to wait 4 months to hit the road and will pick up nice King Ranch of Platinum from the lot if they offer nice discount.
But I have a feeling that Ford has no idea about customer needs. Even after paying $20,000 for premium options, I still will not have some stuff I'd like. Turning with 172" base is not going to be nice neither.
