Ford/Chevy mileage
So I like the mileage our 2012 D/A gets with and without towing. We are looking at the Ford F350 with 3.55 rear end and wondering if the mileage is comparable or not.

Nothing is going to get good gas mileage while towing a travel trailer. Think about what you are doing. You are pulling an unfurled sail behind you. In years gone by, they used that very principle to propel ships across oceans using winds that were not particularly high!
Also, keep in mind that a TT weighing 6,000# will take a whole lot more fuel than a car hauler trailer carrying an El Camino that weighs in at 6,000#.
