Forest river Shamrocks..

Do any of you guys have one? what are your opinions, good or bad? I think I really like the rear slide models..And the floor plan looks perfect for us.. I havent found too many revies or even that may for sale in my area/ NJ
  • I have a rear slide made by Gulfstream. I can access the everything inside, except the sofa, when the bed is in. Triple bunks in front, rear queen slide, sofa & dinette, all in a 25ft box. Not sure how far you are from Albany but RVDirect sells Forest River and Jayco. Both manufacturers offer rear slide models.
  • I have a rear slide and love it also. The King Bed is great. We can get to the kitchen and bath when closed. It has an extremely large Bath for a TT.
  • I have a rear slide from Trail Cruiser and love it. Compact for towing, spacious when camped.
  • They are extremely hard to locate at dealers. Have cons such as cleaning off the rear slide before closing, interiors blocked when closed, and other growing pains over the years. Hybrids win for short storage needs, summer camping only, and highest number of beds. My 21ft htt has 2 tents and rear bunks, thats sleeping for 6 without using a couch or dinette.
  • why are the rear slide unpopular.. for us, I like that it saves on drive way space when I have to store it at home and smaller trailer to tow. plus I would think the extra space is nice once youre all set up at camp..
  • Rear slides aren't that popular. I suggest looking for rockwood models. Same trailer different stickers for better results.
