Do all travel trailers have formaldehyde issues ...or just FEMA trailers?
I have read that ALL Travel trailers have formaldehyde issues. That makes sense to me given that the FEMA trailers were made by existing travel trailer companies. It would only stand to reason that those companies' other trailers would be made the same way.
No, not all TTs have formaldehyde. We have a Heartland TT and there are no cancer causing formaldehyde fumes.
Could it be that the FEMA trailers seem to have more
formaldehyde issues only because folks lived in them full time as opposed to an occasional weekend stay?
We are looking to buy a used travel trailer and I am seeing a lot of FEMA RV's.
Thanks
Avoid the FEMA TTs. They were a rush job and made as cheaply as possible. They lack windows and are dark and airless. They're cheap and tacky and reek from formaldehyde.
