Buzz I went from 220 to 170 about 3 years ago. Took about 7 months. I will admit I felt great, everything was easier. Didn't count calories but pretty much the same as you cut out the carbs, for me that's bread and beer! Now here I am at about 204 again :(. I may go that route again. As we all age that extra weight definitely takes its toll! But good work, good luck and stick to it. You will inspire me and probably a few others. :) One thing I did do is allow myself what every I wanted at Sunday night dinner. Not because of a faith but because that is the night the kids and grand kids come over for dinner!
I eat whatever the heck I want. I just do it in smaller portions than I used to. A nd now that i know the calorie content of different foods I make better choices in regards to taste and calories...Steak or ribs vs a flour tortilla for = calories protein vs carbs I know which wins.
