When was the last time you had a campground check your VIN or Registration ? I've had a few (very few) request the plate number when I walked in to register, that's all. None went out to look for themselves.

Remember, there is only one license plate and it's on the back. Think about how you could back a camper up against a wall or fence just like all the others and never move it.
