Liked reading about your trip, but, the part about Lance bothered me. The first dealer said 'next year' ! What is that ? Three months away, gee that is really nice of them. The second would not even look at it. The third did not have the part and apparently could or would not get one. Apparently Lance dealers do not care about service unless they sold you the camper.
What happens if you buy a used Lance from a private party ? Better find a 'guy with a pick up truck' for service.
