Frameless windows?

We have them on our Enterra and I really like them. They all open at the bottom and can be left open in the rain. Also there is essentially no caulking or leaking to worry about. I think they look great myself.

how far do the bottoms open? can you catch a breeze through them? I like the look but not sure on the function.

I love the look of mine, which do not leak. The ones that open hinge at the top and open not too wide at the bottom so the airflow is not the same as with a sliding window since the open area is smaller. But then that is what a door with a screen is for. Once there is an opening for an exhaust and the door is open there will be enough flow for me. I also have 2 Fantastic Fans for turbocharged air flow. :)

It depends on which window. My trailer has them all around; the side windows open closer to 4" at the bottoms, the rear ones open about 3". Also, the bedroom and one of the living room windows open with the fire escape push out rod which has those opening closer to 4-5" at the bottom.

I definitely can get airflow throughout the trailer.

You don't get as much opening as a slide. But you can open them in the rain.

Some of the toy hauler guys have had their frameless windows fall out. Might want to search the thread on that.

We really love our frameless windows and they make the exterior look super cool. Wouldn't buy another TT without them....

The only issue we have is that they interfere a bit with our two entry doors and we can only open them about 1/2 way otherwise the glass hits the door.

The bottoms open out maybe about 3", and give plenty of air flow. You get more privacy too. With our tinted windows, when fully open, people on the outside can't see in as easily compared to sliders which have only the screen to see through when open.

I have them on my Kodiak. Love the look, living and camping mostly in Florida I use the a/c a lot. As a result mine don't get open very much but when they are open 3-4 inches at the bottom is the standard.

A major selling point. Add vent covers to the roof vents and you can leave the trailer open to fresh air in any weather.

I love the look of the frameless windows but I would not want a trailer with all frameless windows, so that's a sales turn off for us. We have 2 framed bottom open windows, one small one above the kitchen sink and a large one for our emergency exit. They open about 4 inches. The rest are sliding windows, one nice large one being nearly the length of our couch.

As said the ability to leave them open in the rain is a plus. But the bottom open windows don't hold a candle to the amount of air a sliding window lets in. What I like about ours is that we do have both types and get the best of both worlds.

We love our frameless windows too. We can leave them open in the rain and they are hard to see into until you turn on an interior light. The end walls of our main slide out have sliding windows in them if we need more air flow. Like was said earlier with our windows open and vents open, with vent covers, we get plenty of air movement.
