I camp with my parrot. While all these suggestions are good for heating the TC for a person, it is very important to remember that birds are far more sensitive to carbon monoxide, etc.
I have a Little Buddy heater for my RV. I will not run it unless I am in the RV and awake for the safety of my bird.
I also recommend that she have the propane system thoroughly checked out by a professional to ensure the are no minor leaks. Same with the truck fuel system. A small leak can easily kill a bird before you know there's a leak.
My parrot loves camping in the RV, but his safety is my number one priority. She might want to talk to other falconers about her plans and get suggestions from them about making sure the bird stays healthy and safe.
