Freezing temps and def fluid
I understand that the def tanks on the new 6.7's are heated... If the truck is not used in the winter and just sits , is there something that needs to be done differently? The truck is plugged in , do...

Ditto. And, unfortunately, it is another of those blizzard nights again tonight. Howling wind, snow, zero visibility.
Another unfortunate is that I must keep my truck outside because of garage limitations. Ah, older house, says two car garage but can only put one vehicle in there. Too low for the truck anyway.
But my last two trucks have been DEF equipped and neither had any problems outside in the winter, irregardless of ambient temperature.
