The flat fabric hoses seem to be OK - we use the same type/size - likely the same manufacturer - made for forest fire use all the time - they get pretty beat up but take it - same end fittings, too. I got a 25' version for drinking water this past spring - have used it all summer without difficulty - will see how it does in the long run... My 2-cents! ST
But do not clean them with bleach if they get really, really, dirty. I had one last a couple years until I decided to clean it. Why would I do that?! :S
