Every RV absorption fridge installed in a slide out should have at least one fan in outside compartment----best to have TWO fans
Fans provide that needed airflow to compensate for the lack of natural draft a roof vent provides.
Typically fans are thermostat controlled ....t-stat attached to far right fin on condenser unit at top of fridge.
Fans installed just above absorber tubes work the best as they pull air in lower vent up thru tubes then push air across condenser fins and out upper vent
T-stat turns fans on at 135*F and back off at 115*F ----condenser fin temp
Course this is all dependent on IF RV MFG. followed Fridge Mfg. installation instructions or left big clearances/dead air spaces???
