Fridge is leaking refrigerant, do I have to buy a new one?

Replace the cooling unit. It isn't that hard, new ones or rebuilt ones cost quite a bit less than a new fridge. When my Norcold went out under warrantee, they just sent a new cooling unit to swap in. If you don't want to do it yourself, find an authorized service center for them. The labor should not be that much.
