I am confirmed boomdocker.
I also take a laid back approach to batteries.
I think I should be able to plug in and let the convertor handle it.
But this did cause a pair of my batteries to meet an early demise.
BEWARE of the WFCO convertor that doesn't switch modes.... Many here complain that it won't go into boost. While that is true, my issue with it is that it never goes into float.
This means that if you leave the TT plugged in 24/7, the batteries will boil off a lot of water.... Don't check them often enough and the batteries are toast.
WFCO must be really cheap, as they seem to be the most common one installed by the manufacturers.
I no longer own a WFCO.
