Friends maiden voyage ....TrailManor

Camping friends first trip with new to them gently used TrailManor.

Bought on-line from Oklahoma dealer, delivered to Az. ....

pretty seamless transaction. This was my first experience seeing

one of these units (I did own a Coleman Bayside at one point ).

Drew lots of campground interest.

Sequential un-fold/fold up without a hitch...very quick. A bit

of learning curve to close-up loading plan and order. They

are very happy with the unit... spacious. Tows nicely. 24' ft. stem

to stern when closed... I think right at 30' when open. Bed at front.

I will help him get to the CAT scales later this week... and have

already talked him into new tires, bearing lube, and electric brake

controller.

Prior owner's did not use this unit much. Think it is an 06'.

Great maiden voyage...very few glitches. 360 degree window views.

Being cranked down in the tow mode with all the windows and door showing sure catches a bunch of eyes. Everyone thinks how in the world can you camp in that small trailer hehe...

We have one for sale here locally and looked at it pretty close a few years back... Still a neat idea for a camper trailer.

  • Yep... his wife and kids and our family have grown

up together camping... now we are on to new adventures.

Next, both clans looking forward to retirement travels ( a couple years)...

If grandkids don't get it the way ...ha ! (they already have

    worked out sleeping arrangements !).

I'm thinking there will always be a niche for the "folding"

trailer. They sold their last Coleman in less then an hour (Craigslist)...

very popular out here with deer/elk hunters (basecamp).
