Looking at the floorplan above posted by APT I find there is not enough separation between the living room and kids room with the front bunk layout.
Additionally I do think kids need room to play and just hang out in their own space.
The rear bunkhouse layouts seem to have more room for the kids vs. the front bunk floorplans.
If kids have their own ample space than the adults can benefit by having their own space. Separate space is not a factor when kids are small but as they grow older having separate spaces is beneficial.
