Many people who have had this problem have not been as lucky as we were, and it seems to be a best kept secret that there seems to be a flaw with the paint.moose308 wrote:
What is the way to help eliminate front cap from fading?I am using Meguire's rv wax with uv protectant and 303.Anything better?
What make, year and model is your RV? Several manufacturers have had issues with 2011 to 2013 models with colored front caps fading due to a defect with the paint used by the cap manufacturer. Keystone has been honoring warranty claims for this fading issue by repainting the caps.
This condition causes serious fading mostly on the upper portion of the cap.
I have a brown cap and don't appear to have this issue yet. I apply NuFinish polish on it every couple of months and it looks good.
