Therein lies your answer my friend. If the front end was shot, it wouldn't drive fine and/or it may chew up the tires.

Now, with the modification in place, the truck drives fine. But before the modification, the front end shook when we hit a bump and the truck was all over the road. Why would I have spent hundreds of dollars to solve a problem if there was no problem?
