Because it's like this. You heard from several people that own 3/4 ton oil burners and several that own N/A gasoline engines.
None of them own a twin turbo gasoline engine like you do. They are trying to compare an orange and a poodle.
You own a 1/2 ton twin turbo gasoline engine that is on the edge. It does not have much reserve at all. Like I said, Ford does not want you to put a screen in front of the intercool opening. That's how close they got on cooling of this engine.
There have been reports of these engines derating in hot conditions to save themselves.
Like I said. If you never get in tough conditions or hot weather do your mod. If you do, and have your mod on your truck, you're more than likely going to over heat the thing.
My answer would be different if you owned a Ram with a Cummings or a Powerstroke……...You don't. You have a small twin turbo gasoline engine.
