I have hauled bicycles on front ends of vehicles starting in 1974 Ford Pickup, then a 1984 Dodge Van, then a 1995 Dodge Cummins, and since 2003 on a Dodge Dually Quad Cummins. The hitch is from Hidden Hitch. It also serves as a tie down for two kayaks that ride on the roof of the dually.
